On October 22, 2020 CBP will implement changes to CAMIR processing of ISF fillings. This change will align system processing with the implementation Guide as fas as reporting of ISF entities utilizing an Employer Identification Number (IRS #). The implementation guide indicates the valid format is NN-NNNNNNNXX, however CBP would previously accept NN-NNNNNNN. On October 22, 2020 CBP will begin to reject ISF fillings that do not follow the valid format laid out in the Implementation Guide. CATAIR fillings will be updated at a later time and an additional CSMS will be issued to announce those updates. For any questions regarding this please contact your assigned Client Representative.
